Our home has been in a state of upheaval and I can never seem to find the camera when I want it. Enough excuses, I am a camera shy photographer. No matter. Last Sunday I went to the garden centre with friends and splashed out on £45 of plants, including a beautiful rose bush. Well, I've not had time to put them in the ground, and they were looking sorry for themselves today. SO Finally they have been rehoused in the sod. And they look so pretty. Not sure if theyve got enough space, but that's a worry for another day! Without further ado... meet the ladies! Last Sunday I went to the garden centre with friends and splashed out on £45 of plants, including a beautiful rose bush. Well, I've not had time to put them in the ground, and they were looking sorry for themselves today. SO Finally they have been rehoused in the sod. And they look so pretty. Not sure if theyve got enough space, but that's a worry for another day!

]]>Swings anyone?http://HappyPhotos.blog.co.uk/2008/04/06/swings-anyone-4003082/2008-04-06T14:43:24+02:00 I love the swings, they remind me of carefree times as a child, who could swing highest? who could jump off the furthest? who could fall and get the biggest scar. From time to time I visit this park and have a swing, see if I can go as high as I used to, but I tend to stop, either for worry of falling or from motion sickness. Thank god I didn't have these worries as a child. But anyway, seeing them always fills me with a sense of calm. These images more so, as everything is so still, waiting for someone to come take advantage. I haven't followed this advice as I still feel uncomfortable but I did go back indoors today on way to Sainsburys to get said camera, with MK's words ringing in my ears. So, if you like what you're seeing, she is my muse for the day! I played around with some of the SP settings, I'm still trying to get a feel for the cameras capabilities, and I will check out all the website links shortly, but I have a few 'bits' to get done before Christmas Day dawns. I can't get over the clarity of the rose and the contrast of pink against green.

The bark of this tree made me stop to capture its beauty.

This morning I walked hubby to work and carried on down to the sea. The sun was up but it was still quite misty and felt much earlier than 8.30 in the morning. The sea was quite rough and it amused me just to watch it, take it all in, before snapping. Sadly my batteries and the cameras focus died after taking these. It really did feel early <img src="http://data3.blog.de/media/245/2198245_673233ee60_m.jpg" alt="Early Sun" vspace="5" hspace="5"> possibly a little out of focus? and too much sun? All my cares are blown away and I am always stunned by how beautiful and powerful the sea is. I loved the way the birds were lined up on the posts of this groyne. It looked as though they were on guard duty and the sea was sparkling as the sun sunk lower. <img src="http://data3.blog.de/media/887/2187887_95cd00ed12_m.jpg" alt="" vspace="5" hspace="5"> I couldn't get in close enough to get any detail to this crow. <img src="http://data3.blog.de/media/888/2187888_2e06253af5_m.jpg" alt="DSCF0015" vspace="5" hspace="5"> It was quite choppy when I took this one. I don't expect all my friends to visit on a regular basis, you've all got busy lives, but I hope that if and when you do spare a minute of your day, you will enjoy the time you stopped off here.
